To me, wedding photography isn’t just about turning up on the day to snap a few pictures. I want you to enjoy the whole process from meeting me to receiving your wedding album.
I will keep in touch to help you plan your engagement session, finding the best location and helping you pick the perfect outfit. If you want to send me some mirror selfies go for it, heck if you want me to come shopping with you I will!! I will guide you through the engagement session and throw some stupid jokes at you to make you laugh. All the while I’ll discreetly capture some awesome shots.
I will help you fine tune your timeline and figure out how to keep your group shot list short so you don’t have to stand for hours and get tired of smiling and calling out for missing guests.
I want us to be like friends. (Did you just cringe a little bit reading this sentence? I did too when writing it but hear me out:) if you think about it, as your wedding photographer I will be spending more time with you than any of your guests. So I think it’s essential that you pick a photographer not only who’s style you absolutely love but also who you really get on with, someone you know you will have fun with (that’s me!).
The experience doesn’t stop once your wedding day is over, my job is to capture all the details, the smiles, the (happy) tears, and the fun – including all the funny moments like a drunk groomsman trying to break dance, the flower girl gracefully picking her nose or auntie Carol caught mid yawn during the ceremony – so that when you receive your gallery you can relive your wedding day through the photos. And what’s awesome about photos is that they last forever. Literally. The cake will be gone within minutes, the make up wiped off and the dress tucked away in your wardrobe. But the photos will be there for you and your family to look at over and over to relive all those special moments.
It’s going to be fun. I promise.
